Pascal worked for over 25 years in different wine companies. In 2004, he and his wife had the opportunity to take over the family vineyard. With the strategy of becoming one of the best estates in the region.
Major investments were made. A completely new cave was built, according to the most modern regulations. The vineyards were upgraded. A long journey was begun...and Domaine de Poulvarel was born.
The vineyards
The vineyards are located in the southern Rhône, in the village of Sernhac. This is close to the famous Pont du Gard. Planted grape varieties are Grenache, Syrah, Carignan for red and Grenache blanc, Rousanne and Viognier for white. For several years now, they have been working organically (in conversion). This means that the wines will soon also receive the organic label.
