General Conditions
1. Orders can be placed via the bottleneck.be webshop, by e-mail to one of the bottleneck e-mail addresses or with an order form during a tasting. If someone places an order, they fully and legally accept the general conditions below.
2. The description and information about the goods are indicative. Bottleneck cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of this information.
3. By placing an order, the customer agrees to purchase.
4. Bottleneck.be accepts orders from individuals or companies located in the European Union. Bottleneck.be may refuse any order without giving any reason. Refusal to accept an order can never give rise to compensation.
5. Products are offered in function of stock. If a product is no longer in stock, this can never give rise to compensation. If a certain product is no longer available, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and he/she can cancel the purchase free of charge. Bottleneck BV reserves the right to replace a vintage of a certain wine with another vintage of this wine if it is no longer in stock..
6. Payments: webshop orders are paid via an external online payment provider. If an order is placed by email or during a tasting, the customer will receive an order confirmation with instructions for transfer. Goods will be delivered after receipt of payment by bottleneck. For catering & wholesale customers, a payment term of 30 days from invoice date applies. In case of late payment, a fixed compensation of €50 excluding VAT will be charged. A default interest of 1% per month commenced will also be charged with a minimum of €50.
7. Delivery: goods will be shipped within 4 days after receipt of payment or order via the webshop. Bottleneck will do everything in its power to deliver as soon as possible. Failure to comply with the delivery period for whatever reason never entitles you to compensation or the right to cancel the order. Delivery costs are clearly stated during the ordering process and depend on the order quantity and the place of delivery.
8. Ownership of the goods will be transferred to the customer upon payment of the amount due..
9. Trial and exchange guarantee: Unopened and undamaged bottles that for whatever reason do not meet the customer's expectations can be exchanged by the customer up to 30 days after delivery. For webshop orders by private individuals, returns are free. For professional customers, the goods must be returned to bottleneck at Draaiboomstraat 97 2660 Hoboken at the customer's expense. Delivery costs can never be reclaimed. Proof of purchase must be able to be provided.
10. Complaints about damaged products will only be accepted at the time of delivery. If the delivery is accepted, the goods are considered to be in accordance with the order.

12. In case of any disputes, only the commercial court of Antwerp is competent. We explicitly ask customers to first search for a workable solution together with us.
