Frasca La Guaragna Barbera d'Asti 2020 Magnum
The Frasca family’s love for Piedmont and its world-famous wines inspired them to return to Italy. The plan: to produce elegant, terroir-expressive wine in Nizza Monferrato. An introduction to winemaker Matteo Gerbi was the spark that made this vision a reality. Matteo’s extensive experience in prestigious wineries in the Langhe region helped to chart a clear path. Today, Matteo leads a passionate team, following the original vision with an eye to the future: to produce the finest wines you can find in Nizza.
Very deep garnet and ruby red colour with purple and black reflections. Bouquet rich in fruit, especially plums and cherries with hints of violet, cinnamon, cocoa and leather. In the mouth enveloping, dense, rich in soft but well-structured tannins; with the typical fine acidity of Barbera.
