Kracher Cuvee K 2019
For lovers of rich, big white wine. Tropical fruit and herbs on the nose, gooseberries on the palate, lemony, pineapple, some vanilla and blossom honey, well-integrated wood, long-lasting, fresh finish.
Gerhard Kracher is now the 3rd generation winemaker in this iconic wine estate. Father Alois was the man who put the Seewinkel wine region in Burgenland on the international wine map. He saw the potential in the region for making noble sweet wines. Although the dry wines from this estate are also world class. Alois' work is so appreciated by colleagues & the press that he was named Austrian winemaker of the year no less than 7 times. In short, the shoes that Gerhard had to fill in 2007 were quite big. Fortunately, Gerhard succeeds with brio in making the same quality wines as his father.
