Kracher Cuvee k 2019
For lovers of rich, big white wine. This Cuvee K is the perfect companion at a fine table. And what's more, it's already perfect to drink, but can also be kept for a few years. In the nose mainly apricot, sultana, orange zest & citrus. In the mouth full and rich, with a backbone of fine freshness.
Gerhard Kracher is now the 3rd generation winemaker in this iconic wine estate. Father Alois was the man who managed to put the wine region Seewinkel in Burgenland on the international wine map. He saw the potential in the region for making noble sweet wines. Although the dry wines from this estate are also world class. Alois' work is so appreciated by colleagues & the press that he was named Austrian winemaker of the year no less than 7 times. In short, the shoes that Gerhard had to fill in 2007 were quite big. Fortunately, Gerhard succeeds brilliantly in making the same quality wines as his father.
