Tesch Riesling Löhrer Berg 2022
The LÖHRER BERG in Langenlonsheim is one of the oldest Riesling vineyards in the Nahe. In 1688, Elector Philip Wilhelm of the Palatinate ordered Riesling to be planted here, to the exclusion of all other grape varieties. Numerous natural springs nourish and improve the loamy, gravelly soil and help make it exceptionally fertile. The vines, which have been in place for over 40 years, produce juicy and apple-laced Rieslings that often develop subtle earthy notes with a little maturation.
