Mira Cabernet Franc 2023
Elegant yet spicy interpretation of Cabernet Franc. Laurel, anise, juniper, pepper and red and blue fruit on the nose. Elegant, fresh & silky tannins on the palate.
Clay soil. Vines 23 years old. Hand-harvested from the southern slopes of the Křižák vineyard. Spontaneously fermented with 3 weeks of remontage in open barrels, then matured for 11 months in 225-litre oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulphur.
On the label: Mary Wigman (1886–1973) – a German dancer and pioneer of expressionist dance, celebrated for her statement: "We don't dance history, we dance feelings."
