JNK Chardonnay 2015
JNK by Kristina Mervic is one of the most interesting domains we have been able to discover in recent years. Kristina works biodynamically on a small 3.5Ha vineyard in the North of Vipava, on the border with Goriska Brda. Pure & complex are the key words here.
This is what Kristina herself says about this wine: Our Chardonnay has a golden color and an intense and rich aroma. The scent is reminiscent of fresh and dry hay, which changes into a light grassy scent with aging. The richness of the extract testifies to the density and consistency of the wine. The elegance is enveloping: the entire structure develops its harmony over time. A strong aging potential for the next 15-20 years has become possible thanks to traditional cultivation and hard work in the vineyards.
