Kirrenbourg Riesling Roche Granitique 2020
The new pearl of Alsace: domaine Kirrenbourg. The ambitious team led by winemaker Samuel Tottoli has been working hard in recent years to make wines that can compete with the absolute top of Alsace, and often even surpass them. The vineyards are rigorously biodynamic. In terms of winemaking, spontaneous fermentations and slow maturations are chosen that let the grape and the terroir speak for themselves.
This Riesling Roche Granitique is made from, you guessed it, grapes from granite soils. Hand-picking, slow spontaneous fermentation and maturation on ceramic for a year make for a particularly rich, fruit-driven interpretation of Riesling. The depth of this cuvee in combination with the fine freshness makes for a particularly refined drinking experience.
