Mira Riesling 2023
Masterpiece of a female master hand. Incredibly dense and firm Riesling with a golden hue. Fruity tropical and citrus notes rise up your nose in the blink of an eye. On your tongue, the wine literally seems to come to life, with a salty and very persistent finish. What a juicy and deep character! One of the best in its category and one of the few Rieslings that you don't have to combine with food.
33 year old vineyard on sandy soil. Hanpluk, partly maceration carbonique in acacia. 6 months maturation on lies.
On the label: Vaslav Niijinski (1889-1950), famous for his gravity-defying jumps. (MIRA was herself a ballet dancer)
